The Brigantine Castle was a haunted house attraction on the Jersey Shore that burned down before it was scheduled to be demolished. I started off trying to make an another "ambient' song but it was so horribly boring I figured anyone who listened to it would go into a coma. I added actual sounds from the recordings that played in various parts of the castle during the 70's, some authentic sounds of the northern atlantic and the actual Philadelphia news report about the fire. I started off with a 3/4 march from an old wax cylinder from 1898 and added some snippets from pop culture and history until I built it up enough to morph to 4/4 time for some swing notes. Mix is muddy as hell so I left out the bass and threw in some vocals and morphed it again into a world drone nightmare. Guest appearances by Deadman and Nay Nay on vocals. The last time I did a song that mentioned minimal everyone complained and said it was too busy so I decided to build a song on only two notes. I dumbed down the bassline as much as I could without having a seizure and fought to keep only 2 voices for most of the song. I could not stop myself from adding the synth solo at the end and the piano triads which added another 4 notes. As for the ambient part, I used recent field recordings that I just added to Freesound over an almost drone like... ( 2 reviews ) Topics: minimal, ambient, instrumental, electronica, freesound

5 hypnotic and sensual tracks (except track 1 which is rash and vulgar) from Digi Hartatak. Spaceface is an allusion to reason that started off as a 3/4 time blueprint for a giant electronic iron maiden project that seemed interesting at the time but never went anywhere so I carelessly added some synth, some space related samples and a few words I wrote on the way to the office yesterday. Experiment in the genre of digital hardcore. This is not your father's hardcore, which was heavy punk almost thrash metal, somehow hardcore became glitchy twitching spasmotic convulsions of dissonance. Sequenced version of "Acoustic Song" from around 1987 by Warfare... I did it as a blueprint for the "Fade to Black" inspired instrumental anthem remix tribute that I never finished. It's recorded on Digital Compact Cassette from a cheasy old Kawai MIDI keyboard driveb by Voyetra software on a 486, then transferd to CD by Brian Lipski (the original guitar player) and ripped to MP3.
